Ceiling Fan Installation in Taft, CA
A ceiling fan cuts cooling costs and makes Taft summers far more comfortable, but only when it is mounted on a fan-rated box with proper wiring. Unique Electrical Services installs ceiling fans in Taft, CA in bedrooms, living rooms, patios and vaulted ceilings, including rooms that have never had a fixture.

When a room in your Taft home has an existing fixture, a fan installation usually takes about an hour. If there is no wiring, we run a new switched circuit from the nearest source and install a braced fan box that can handle the weight and motion. We then assemble, balance and test the fan and set up wall controls or remotes.
Homeowners in Taft and nearby Fellows, Maricopa and Tupman choose us because our flat rates cover the whole job, not just the mounting. Bring your own fan or ask us for a recommendation that fits the room size and ceiling height.
Ceiling fan tips for Taft homes
- Rooms over 12 feet wide need a 52 inch or larger fan
- Fans must be mounted on a box rated for fans, not lights
- Covered patios need damp-rated fans; open patios need wet-rated
- A wobbling fan usually means a bad box, not a bad fan
- Reversible fans push warm air down in winter
