We size the generator based on the circuits you actually need during an outage in Julian, whether that is the whole home or just refrigeration, well pump, HVAC and medical equipment. Once the unit and transfer switch are chosen, we install the electrical side, coordinate fuel hookup, and test a full simulated outage before handing it over.
Homeowners across San Diego County, including Santa Ysabel, Descanso and Ranchita, count on their generators through shutoff events every year. If you already own a portable generator, a manual transfer switch and inlet box gives you a safe way to power the house without dangerous extension cords.
A generator is worth it for your Julian home if
- Your area sees public safety power shutoffs
- Someone in the home relies on powered medical equipment
- You have a well pump, sump pump or freezers
- You work from home and cannot afford downtime
- You want AC and lights through summer outages
